CNCO took to the Village Stage at the 2019 Wango Tango on Saturday (June 1), for their first-ever performance at the annual iHeartRadio music event held in California. In a video interview, the band spoke to Billboard about their upcoming album and more.
“It’s amazing, it’s our first time here,” Joel Pimentel tells Billboard. “We’ve seen a whole bunch of love and a whole bunch of acceptance today, so we hope to be back soon,” he said, giving a special shout out to all CNCOwners for their support.
The Latin boy band also spoke about their bilingual track “Pretend,” released earlier this year in February. “This generation is more Spanglish,” Richard Camacho says. “We wanted to make this song to connect a bit with our non-Spanish speaking fans and with our non-English speaking fans. It’s a cool combination.”
