Carlos Vives, Sebastian Yatra & More to Perform at 2019 UEFA Champions Festival

Colombian singer Carlos Vives will perform at the 2019 UEFA Champions Festival in Madrid, Spain, as it was announced Thursday (May 16) morning by UEFA and Pepsi. This is also the first time in history that the festival will feature performances by Latin artists, including Vives.

The free annual festival takes place in the final host city during the UEFA Champions League, giving sports aficionados and visitors the ultimate champions league experience.

"I have two great passions, music and soccer so I could not be happier to be part of this historic event with Pepsi and UEFA, which is about bringing people together to enjoy what unites us, from our joys to our culture," said Vives in a press statement.

The festival will run four days and include performances by Sebastian Yatra on Thursday, May 30, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike on Friday, May 31, and sharing the stage on Saturday, June 1 are pop group Now United and Grammy-winning singer, Carlos Vives.
