Maluma Breaks Down in Tears After the Release of Madonna Collaboration 'Medellin'

After months of teasing fans about a new collaboration, Madonna finally dropped her single "Medellín," featuring Maluma, on Wednesday (April 17).

The Queen of Pop and Colombian urban artist first met and connected backstage at the 2018 VMAs. This year, in February, they were spotted in the recording studio making music. "I had the opportunity to spend some time with her in Los Angeles," Maluma previously told Billboard. "She was in the studio and I joined her."

“Medellin” is a cha-cha electronic song fused with Latin flavors, on which the two artists flirt with each other in sensual Spanglish lyrics.

On Instagram, Maluma shared a video of himself crying inside a car after the song's release. “Impossible to contain my tears and emotions after hearing this,” he expressed. “You don’t know the happiness and what this represents in my life. It’s good to dream… I told you!”
