Rosalia and J Balvin Pay Tribute to Old School Reggaeton With New Single 'Con Altura': Watch

The track also features El Guincho.

Rosalia holds plenty of affection for classic reggaeton, as shown through her new collaboration with J Balvin and El Guincho titled “Con Altura” ("With Height").

“Con Altura,” out today (March 28), breaks urban music stereotypes as Rosalia adds her own flavor, demonstrating her ability to create contemporary music with a touch of old school reggaeton, which is rare nowadays.

“Con Altura” was released alongside a music video in which Rosalia, J Balvin and El Guincho aptly start a party while inside an airplane; Rosalia shows off some of her signature flamenco moves.

The track "is an homage to the more classic and original reggaeton: reggaeton playero,” as Rosalia says in a press release. “When I was younger I loved listening to reggaeton and it could have been natural for me to make a song like this before, but I don’t like to force anything.”
