Maluma is seen visiting patients in the pediatric wing of Miami Cancer Institute where he let patients cut his hair as a show of support during World Cancer Day on Feb. 4, 2019 in Miami.

Maluma has a new haircut, and it wasn’t done by a professional hairstylist.

On Monday, Maluma took a few hours off to visit the Miami Cancer Institute of Baptist Hospital to bring joy to children battling cancer. During his visit, the Colombian singer decided to be supportive of all the patients and let them cut his long hair.

“We all know that in the process of chemotherapy there is hair loss, and I want to tell you that this day I want to put myself in your place and be in solidarity with you,” Maluma says in a video posted on the institute's Instagram.

Meanwhile, on his Instagram account, Maluma wrote: "It is impossible to put yourself in the shoes of these little ones but by those smiles, you do anything. Thank you, little masters, for teaching us so much, and for sure the next one I will not look for a hairdresser. I would go back 1,000 times to you."
