Daddy Yankee dropped his first single of 2019 titled “Con Calma” on Jan. 23, and it's gaining traction thanks to a new social media challenge.

The track, which echoes timeless ‘90s bops and features catchy reggaeton melodies, is a new version of Snow's 1992 hit "Informer," which spent seven consecutive weeks at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Keeping its essence, Yankee invited the Canadian rapper and reggae artist to co-write the new Latin version.

"I wanted to convey the best energy and freshness within dance and music unifying the music of my adolescence with the modern sound of today," Daddy Yankee said in a press statement.

Now, “Con Calma” has garnered over 39 million video views, and has people of all ages and nationalities on their feet, doing the #ConCalmaChallenge.
