'Visitante' Manager Juan Paz Launches Peace Music Management
Clients include Monsieur Periné, Visitante and Superlitio.
Latin music manager and digital expert Juan Paz has launched a new management venture. Peace Music Management, which will have operations in Mexico, Miami and Bogota, will represent artist/producer Eduardo "Visitante” Cabra, best new artist Latin Grammy winners Monsieur Periné and Colombian rock band Superlitio.
Paz launched Peace Music after nearly 10 years at M3 Music, the management company he co-founded in 2009 and from where he also helmed the career of Colombian group Bomba Estereo.
"Juan is a trusted friend and creative partner - one whose insight into the constantly changing business of music has made it possible for me to continue with my vision as an artist and music producer," said Cabra, who last year released his Trending Tropics project while already working with Paz.
Paz's management career has been unconventional. He began as a nightclub entrepreneur in Colombia before completing a master’s degree in music business and working in Music Ally and Apple before taking positions in digital departments at labels. Most recently, in parallel with his M3 talent management work, Paz was head of digital strategy and marketing for Sony Music US Latin, a post he left in 2017 to dedicate himself fully to management.
Paz also created and curates music business conference Resonancia in Colombia.
