Latin trap star Anuel AA has singed a worldwide publishing administration agreement with Kobalt. The deal includes global synch and creative support services for Anuel's catalog and future songs.

Anuel AA, real name Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, catapulted to the top of the charts following his release from prison this summer, timed with the immediate release of his album Real Hasta la Muerte, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart.

Although Anuel's music has limited airplay, given its often explicit content, the artist has racked millions of streams worldwide, both for his solo work and collaborations with the likes of Meek Mill, 6ix9ine, Nicki Minaj and Ozuna. Anuel also performed his first U.S. tour in the fall, selling out venues like Miami’s American Airlines Arena. Last week, he also announced a joint Latin American tour with girlfriend Karol G.

"Anuel AA is a truly unique and extraordinarily talented singer/songwriter, with an amazing career ahead of him,” said Nestor Casonú, Kobalt Music president, Latin America. "I feel very proud having him join the Kobalt family and we look forward to supporting his rising career."

"I’ve always loved his music,” added Leslie Ahrens, Kobalt Music vp of creative, Latin America. "Anuel AA exemplifies the type of creative artist with whom we strive to partner with."

Anuel is the latest in a string of high-profile Latin artists who have signed worldwide deals with Kobalt, including Ozuna, Carlos Vives, Enrique Iglesias and Prince Royce.

"The first time I met Nestor and Leslie, I knew they were the ones," said Anuel in a statement. "I'm grateful to have them on my team." Anuel's Kobalt deal was brokered by attorney Simran Singh
