Wisin & Yandel performs as part of their concert 'Como Antes Tour' at Coliseo Jose M. Agrelot on Nov. 30, 2018 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

If you’re feeling like the sounds of Wisin & Yandel are on replay, you’re not going crazy. Timed with the Friday (Dec. 14) release of the reggaetón duo’s first album in five years, Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) premiered the full album -- titled Los Campeones del Pueblo "The Big Leagues" -- on its biggest terrestrial stations.

The exclusive “roadblock” continued during the day with SBS’ five tropical and urban stations, including New York’s La Mega (the country’s most-listened-to Spanish-language radio station) and Miami’s El Zol 106.7 FM. Every hour on the hour, all five stations played the album, in its entirety, with Wisin & Yandel as DJs.

The album also premiered on SBS’ music streaming app LaMusica, which also featured special programming and exclusive content around the release.

This is the third time this year that SBS has orchestrated a takeover with a major act on its stations. The first time was with Romeo Santos' Golden in the first quarter, followed by Ozuna's Aura in the fall.
