The song is part of his forthcoming album, due in Spring 2019.

Every time Alejandro Sanz releases a new song there's always a reason and an amazing story behind it. And, yes, on Friday (Nov. 30) he was back with a new track called "No Tengo Nada” (“I Have Nothing") and it presents a new reality that many of us live on our daily basis.

"Basically we spent the time thinking about the past and the future and they are two times that totally do not exist. The past is gone and the future is not even here," Sanz tells Billboard. The emotional ballad also addresses humanity's unattainable obsession with materialistic things. "We focus on material things and we forget who we have near," he adds.

The video for the song -- filmed in Miami -- finds Sanz, who might just be a friendly, invisible spirit, laying hands on men and women facing some struggle in their lives and making them realize that there is good in the world. "No Tengo Nada" is Sanz's first single off his forthcoming album, due out in spring 2019. "The album has many collaborations with young people that I love very much and will present different types of music," he says without elaborating on the guests slated for the record.
