Colombian singer/songwriter Manuel Medrano, one of the bright young stars of Latin music and winner of the 2016 Latin Grammy for Best new artist, has signed an exclusive management deal with Vibras Lab and Westwood Entertainment.

The deal with Medrano, who is signed to Warner Music, is unusual because it involves two separate companies.

Vibras is the company founded by Fabio Acosta, Ivan Alarcon and Ramiro Agudelo and which also manages reggaetón duo Jowell & Randy. Acosta also co-manages J Balvin.

Westwood Entertainment, founded by David West and Jorge Juarez is based in Mexico and manages acts like Sin Bandera and Carlos Rivera and also does extensive tour promotion.

"I feel happy and blessed to work with the Vibras Lab team," said Medrano from Colombia. "I have no doubt that with them and Westwood, we’ll make history."

"Manuel has undisputed talent and an unparalleled voice," said Acosta. "He represents a new generation of Colombian and Latin American artists.”

"I was impressed by his talent and down to earth qualities from the moment I met him,” added Juarez. “I’m sure we’ll be able to take his music to the entire world."

Medrano is currently working on his second album with plans to release in 2019.
