For the very first time, Sebastian Yatra and Halsey collaborated in a two-part medley at the 2018 Latin Grammys Thursday night (Nov. 15). Their heartfelt performance didn’t just offer good quality entertainment, but also an experience.
The medley began with Yatra’s most popular love ballad, “No Hay Nadie Mas” or “My Only One.” Halsey sang in Spanish for the first time and together, their harmonies were impeccable. The stage set matched the feel -- romantic and intimate.
Things picked up when Halsey’s latest single, “Without Me,” began to play. The respective Colombian and New Jersey natives immediately stood up to sing an emotional and dramatic rendition of the track. Their performance of both songs showed how powerful ballads about love and heartbreak are, no matter the language.
