The Latin Recording Academy honored Mexican rock group Mana as this year’s Person of the Year. It was the first time in Latin Grammy history that a band took the honor.
During the Person of the Year gala Wednesday night (Nov. 14), the group talked to Billboard about their big night. “It’s a tremendous honor and we’re grateful to the Academy,” they said, stating that they are sharing the moment with their fans. “We’re excited to see our songs being sung by our colleagues and in other versions.”
