"It is an honor to add these Guinness World Records titles to my list of accomplishments and acknowledgments," he says.

"Another item was taken off of my bucket list," Daddy Yankee said after receiving the news that he now has 10 Guinness World Records.

Kimberly Patrick, official adjudicator for Guinness World Records, presented Daddy Yankee the certificate for his achievement as the first Latin artist to reach No. 1 on Spotify’s global chart, plus seven titles for the success of his hit song "Despacito" (in collaboration with Luis Fonsi). Also, Yankee received two additional titles for two records on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Airplay chart. The Puerto Rican superstar holds the record for the most No. 1s on the chart with 17 entries since 2005 and has the most amount of titles charted (68 in total).

"It is a pleasure for Guinness World Records to recognize these records for Daddy Yankee,” Patrick said. “His music has a global appeal that has enabled him to break these long-standing industry records."
