Elvis Crespo On How Asian Series Influenced His Eye-Catching Style at the 2018 Latin AMAs: Watch

Elvis Crespo had a lot to celebrate at the 2018 Latin American Music Awards, especially his nomination alongside Steve Aoki, Daddy Yankee, and Play-N-Skillz for “Azukita.”

Despite not taking home the award, Crespo arrived at the Latin AMAs with nothing but good vibes. He wanted his positive attitude to reflect in his outfit.

Looking dapper in an all-yellow suit accompanied by a pair of red shoes, the merengue singer told Billboard, “I’m at a time that I have good energy and I take risks not only in my music but also my style.”

His hairstyle for the night, for example, was influenced by his obsession with Asian series on Netflix. Some of his favorite of the moment include “Mr. Sunshine” from Korea and the Chinese series “The Rise of the Phoenix.”

At the carpet, he also talked about an upcoming EDM track with Mexican-American DJ Deorro and even sang a preview.
