Gloria Trevi recently became one of the few Latina singers and songwriters to be inducted into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame at the 2018 La Musa Awards. As unstoppable as she is, peermusic, which has been the singer’s publisher since 2007, has expanded its publishing agreement with Trevi to encompass the majority of her catalog.

The news was announced Tuesday (Oct. 23) by Kathy Spanberger, president and chief operating officer, peermusic Anglo American region, and Yvonne Drazan, vice president, Latin division, West Coast, peermusic.

"I’ve loved having Kathy and Yvonne as my publishers for the past 10-plus years and it’s an honor to work with a publishing company led by female executives,” Trevi said in a press statement. “I’m really excited about signing this deal to bring more of my back catalog to peermusic because it opens up a lot of new opportunities for us to work together, and I can’t wait to see what we do with some of these songs.”

As part of the deal expansion, peermusic will publish all titles from Trevi’s 2007 album Una Rosa Blue forward, including hits such as "Como Nace El Universo," "En Medio De La Tempestad," "Tu Ángel De La Guarda," "El Recuento De Los Daños" and "Dr. Psiquiatra.”

In other news, the Mexican singer is also working on a biographical series, a theatrical play and an animated series.
