Lele Pons Talks Crazy Family Traditions in Venezuela and Best Arepas Ever in 'Growing Up Latino' Episode

Lele Pons is no new face in the game.

By now, you’d probably know that she rose to fame thanks to her hilarious six-second skits on Vine before kicking off her music career with her single “Celoso,” and that she loves every single one of her 28.9 million Instagram followers.

What most people may not know, including the die-hard Lele fans, is that before the fame, she had a pretty rad childhood with crazy family traditions, lots of horse riding, and sweet advice from her abuelita.

In this week’s episode of “Growing Up Latino,” the 22-year-old influencer and singer takes the hot seat and opens up about many personal things, including her best memories living in Venezuela, what makes her a proud Venezuelan-American woman, and things that would make her celosa as a kid.

Without giving too many spoilers, we can tell you this much: her nanny made the BEST AREPAS EVER, stuffed with ground meat, cheese, and rice.
