The Uruguayan hip-hop artist’s video takes place in the shadows of Montevideo.

Some fans have begun to wonder what happened to the cojones in Latin urban music. Enter Uruguayan MC Santi Mostaffa and his single “El Club De La Pelea,” the video of which is premiering exclusively on Billboard today (Sept. 27).

The visual is a spin-off of the film Fight Club, changing location to Montevideo and taking place in the shadows of an oil refinery and at other nocturnal locations in the city.

The hard-hitting track, featuring rapper Gavo, is the first single from Mostaffa’s upcoming second album Escapismo (Regalia Records).

The conscious hip-hop artist of Egyptian heritage courted international attention last year when his song “Las Mil Y Una Noches” was featured in the opening scene of the  X-Men movie Logan; it will also be heard in the new racing video game The Crew 2.
