Meet the 2018 Latin AMAs new artist of the year nominees.

Bad Bunny

Straight from La Isla del Encanto, Bad Bunny is no new name in 2018. From a local supermarket bagger to becoming a renowned Latin trap artist, Bad Bunny has been making the rounds with his witty music since 2015. His recent collaboration with J Balvin on Cardi B’s summer anthem “I Like It” nabbed him his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Manuel Turizo

At only 18 years old, Manuel Turizo is one of the youngest names in the Latin urban scene. His deep and captivating voice, however, has made this rising Colombian artist one of the hottest acts of the moment. His single “Una Lady Como Tu” put him on our radar and has since collaborated with artists such as Piso 21 and Ozuna in “Vaina Loca.”

Raymix

Keeping cumbia alive one guitar riff at a time, Raymix (born Edmundo Gomez Moreno) is responsible for the comeback of electrocumbia. His 2015 single, “Oye Mujer,” was such a hit that it even got Juanes to jump on the remix. On the Billboard charts, “Oye Mujer” landed him a No. 1 on Tropical Songs (chart dated April 21).

Sebasti√°n Yatra

Ever since he dropped his hit “Traicionera” in 2016, Sebastian Yatra has been unstoppable! The 23-year-old urban-pop singer from Medellin, Colombia has released catchy songs such as “Sutra” and “Devuelveme el Corazon” and has collaborated with some of the big dogs in the industry such as Alejandro Fernandez, Carlos Vives, and Andres Cepeda.
