5 Reasons Why You Can't Miss Shakira's 'El Dorado' Tour

Shakira’s fans are happy that the superstar has finally returned to the U.S. with this summer's El Dorado Tour, and on Friday (Aug. 17), the Colombian singer made her way to Miami for a two-hour special night.

After being postponed due to Shakira’s vocals issues, the El Dorado Tour -- which kicked off in Chicago on Aug. 3 -- was one of the pop star's most anticipated treks to date. Her stop in Miami proved just how unmissable her live show is, and Billboard highlighted a few of them below.

The opening

In less than a minute you’ll see Shakira's life in images, from throwback snapshots of her as a baby to photos that document her rise to superstar status.

The romantic moment

The superstar shows her romantic side with an acoustic performance of “Antologia" off of 1995's Pies Descalzos, her third studio album.

Fans can’t go home without singing and dancing to her smash hits “Hips Don't Lie” -- which peaked at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in 2006 -- and "La Bicicleta," her 2017 collaboration with Carlos Vives.
