Billboard Will Have Anuel AA's First Interview After He Leaves Prison

The Latin trap singer is set to leave prison on Tuesday (July 17).

Anuel AA is getting ready to take back his career. After two years behind bars, the Puerto Rican singer will be leaving prison on Tuesday (July 17) and will sit down with Billboard in his first official exclusive video interview to be published on Wednesday (July 18) at 9 a.m. ET.

In 2017, the Latin trap singer/rapper born Emmanuel Gazmey-Santiago was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison on the unlawful possession of firearm charges in Puerto Rico; he was transferred to a halfway house in Miami earlier this year. The rapper was arrested on April 3, 2016, after officers found three guns, a dozen clips, and 152 rounds of ammunition in the vehicle. In December of the same year, he pled guilty to the charges.

While in prison, Anuel AA was working on new songs and on Tuesday morning (before being released from jail) he dropped his new album, Real Hasta La Muerte.
