Maluma Confesses That Thalia Was His 'Telenovela' Crush in New Series 'Growing Up Latino': Watch

In Billboard's first episode of Growing Up Latino, superstar Maluma took the seat of confessions to tell stories of his childhood and Colombian culture.

The clip begins with the "El Prestamo" singer letting us know that "El Cantante" by Hector Lavoe is his mother and grandmother's favorite song.

Later, Maluma confesses that his mother once punished him for having escaped from school. "I was very bored, so I decided to pick up my things and go home," he says.

And what can he say about telenovelas? Well, Maluma definitely watched some, including Maria la del Barrio. His crush? Mexican actress/singer Thalia.
