Watch J Balvin Talk About Standing By Maluma: 'We Have to Support Each Other'

"If Maluma and I can lean on this moment to feel that there is a movement, we are going to do it."

J Balvin is counting down the hours until his new album Vibras drops on May 24. But first, rewind to when the Colombian superstar sat down with Billboard in Miami during an album release event to talk about his support for Maluma and more.

"It is very important in a world that at this moment I see that, although there are more positive things than negative ones, the negative things make a lot of noise," Balvin said. "We have to support each other."

And Balvin’s goal is to achieve an "urban movement" in Colombia and to serve as an example for new artists. "If Maluma and I can lean on this moment to feel that there is a movement, we are going to do it."
