On Mother’s Day weekend,  Arthur Hanlon seized social media networks to carry out a special plan. The pianist/arranger/composer pleased a few musical colleagues and friends by playing a piano version of their moms' favorite song.

During last week, Hanlon secretly collected songs from Carlos Vives, Elvis Crespo, Silvestre Dangond, Feid and Izaak. He then surprised their mothers by posting video of him performing each track on social media during Mother's Day weekend.

"That a great American pianist like @arthurhanlon plays 'Mis Flores Negras,' my mom's favorite song has made us all cry. Thank you!!! Happy day to all moms," wrote Carlos Vives.
