Karol G & Shaggy's Video for 'Tu Pum Pum' Is Bursting With Color: Watch the Premiere

We’re loving Karol G’s visual approach to her videos as of late. “Pineapple” was a cornucopia of colors, and her newest, “Tu Pum Pum,” with Shaggy, is even more aesthetically pleasing.

Taking a page from J Balvin’s “Mi Gente,” the video, directed by Colombian Salomon Simhon (Estemán, Martina La Peligrosa), features Karol G and Shaggy (plus El Capitaan & Sekuence) dancing the “Pum Pum” against a vast array of tropical backgrounds, from nature-inspired paintings to '80s-esque leotard print-clad girls on stationary bikes. The result goes from fun to garish and is endlessly amusing and discover-worthy. The fact that “Tu Pum Pum” is dancehall ear candy doesn’t hurt either. This should be a hit.
