Mexico's Kinky & Inspector to Headline Inaugural Rock 'n' Roll Oaxaca Half Marathon

The nighttime race concludes with a festival concert on April 29.

Kinky and Inspector, two of Mexico's most celebrated bands, will be the finish line prize for runners at the inaugural edition of the Rock 'n' Roll Oaxaca Half Marathon.

The April 29 evening event will conclude with a festival concert featuring the two groups who for years have toured around the world.

Founded in Monterrey, Kinky's electronic music has entertained audiences for more than 15 years. The band has appeared on shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!, among others. The Grammy-nominated group is known for fusing genres, from disco to rock and pop with their most recent album being 2017's Nada Vale Más Que Tú.

Since 1995, Inspector's ska-rock influences have made the group grow in popularity with their meshing of rock, ska and reggae. The iconic band, also from Monterrey, continues being a favorite for fans throughout Latin America and beyond.

The weekend race will begin with a free two-day Health and Fitness Expo at Ciudad de Las Canteras Convention Center on April 27 and 28. More on the marathon series at RunRocknRoll.com/oaxaca
