The live music events executive opened the company’s offices in Argentina and oversaw operations.

Three years after opening Move Concerts Argentina, partner and managing director Sebastian Carlomagno has been promoted to chief operating officer, the live music events company has announced.

Move Concerts CEO Phil Rodriguez said that Carlomagno has been key in opening Argentina's office and overseeing operations, while assuring that Move continues to have a strong presence in the region.

"He has been instrumental in securing yearly sponsorship platforms in Peru and Puerto Rico," Rodriguez said. "With the growth of Move Concerts, it became evident that we needed a chief operating officer familiar with all aspects of this business. Sebastian is that person."

Prior to joining Move Concerts Argentina, Carlomagno made a name for himself within the region's entertainment industry. He was named commercial director of Cie Entertainment (OCESA) in 2000, and in 2007, he was named president and regional director.

"Throughout my almost 20 years of experience, I have encountered many challenges and faced the numerous variables of this exciting industry," Carlomagno said. "My objective now is to strengthen the company's growth in the region. I appreciate the confidence that Phil and the directors of each country have in me as I take on this important task and new position."

Marcela Pinelli, COO of Move Concerts Argentina, will assist with the day-to-day operations out of the Buenos Aires office, while Carlomagno will continue to be based there as well.
