Six Months After Hurricane Maria, Luis Fonsi Says 'Puerto Rico Is Ready for Visitors'

The success of "Despacito" opened many doors for Latin star Luis Fonsi, including the role of being the spokesman for tourism in Puerto Rico. But, all plans were halted after Hurricane Maria devastated the island back in September 2017.

Finally, six months later, Fonsi resumes his title as spokesperson, and officially invites everyone back to visit Puerto Rico -- through a new video series, produced by the Tourism Company of Puerto Rico. Fonsi offers facts on how the Caribbean island is doing highlighting, places that have already reopened for business, including hotels, beaches, and recreational activity centers.

Luis Fonsi has also set the new date for his concert on the island. The Love and Dance World Tour will take place at Coliseo de Puerto Rico on June 1 and 2.
