Premio Lo Nuestro 2018 was one for the books as the gala celebrated 30 years of honoring the best in Latin music, live from Miami’s American Airlines Arena on Thursday night (Feb. 22).

Bridging cultural and generational gaps, this year's commemorative edition did away with nominations and instead recognized music icons and the new-school cadre of chart-toppers. Aired on Univision, here are the evening's top performances:

Explosive opening medley with Laura PausiniDaddy Yankee and Pitbull singing "Gasolina;" Victor Manuelle and Bad Bunny sing "Carnaval;" and Milly Quezada teams with Pepe Aguilar and Johnny Ventura.

Romeo Santos performs a lengthy medley before being joined by Ozuna for "Sobredosis" 

Daddy Yankee puts on a kickass television debut of "Dura." 

A medley of Emilio and Gloria Estefan’s greatest hits by Leslie Grace, Il Volo and Víctor Manuelle. 

After nearly five years, Wisin y Yandel hit the stage of Premio Lo Nuestro to sing together again.

Laura Pausini debuts her new single “Nadie Ha Dicho” with Sergio George on piano.

Renowned singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner sings his popular romantic ballads with daughter Evaluna Montaner and sons Mau y Ricky.

J Balvin teams with Anitta and newcomer Jeon for a live spectacle of his latest hit “Machika.”

Maluma and Brazil’s Nego do Borel perform for the first time on TV their new hit “Corazón.”

Bad Bunny and J Balvin with Prince Royce.
