CNCO was formed back in December 2015, and the boy band surived through many artistic tests in front of superstars Laura Pausini, Alejandro Sanz and Ricky Martin on the Univision reality show La Banda. Since then, Erick, Joel, Zabdiel, Richard and Christopher have been working nonstop. At the moment they are in the final stage of their second album, set to be released in April.
What have these guys achieved on the Billboard charts since they became a group? They debuted of No. 1 on Top Latin Albums with Primera Cita and also have had five chart entries on Hot Latin Songs, two of which went top 10: "Tan Facil" peaked to No. 5 on May 14, 2016, and "Reggaeton Lento (Bailemos)," featuring Little Mix, peaked at No. 6 on April 8, 2017. Last year, CNCO won three Billboard Latin Music Awards, including artist of the year, debut.
What will they offer in 2018? During a conversation with Billboard, CNCO spoke about their new music video for “Mamita,” which is No. 36 on Hot Latin Songs (chart dated Feb. 3), their plans for the new album and about their four iHeartRadio Music Awards nominations.
