Sofia Reyes kicked off 2018 by fronting Nike's latest campaign: The Force Is Female.

One of five "badass women" -- Nike athlete and Olympic high-jumper Vashti Cunningham, plus-size model Catherine Li, professional dancer and choreographer Charm La'Donna and stylist Sami Miro -- the Mexican singer is being feted for her accomplishments in the music industry, but more for having the tenacity to chase a dream.

"Whatever I’m doing I intend to do it the best I can," she said in a statement. "I’m still working hard to get better and better every day."

Reyes, who currently has more than 1.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, caught the attention of Warner Music Latina, with whom she now has a joint venture. Several awards and nominations later, Reyes became the first solo lead female act to hit No. 1 on the Latin Pop Songs chart in five years (2016), with her single “Solo Yo" featuring Prince Royce.

Ahead of her new single slated to premiere in February, Reyes is keen on empowering her fans to find their own personal force and pursue that big dream -- by any means necessary.
