Following a Latin Grammy nomination for her song with Juanes on “El Ratico," and weeks after, a Grammy nomination for her collaboration with Daniel Caesar on “Get You,” Kali Uchis is ready to take 2018 by the horns.

On Friday (Jan. 11), the Colombiana singer-songwriter dropped a new single featuring the legendary Bootsy Collins and longtime collaborator Tyler, The Creator called "After the Storm," a timely record about weathering the dark to get to the light.

"We can find solace in the fact that we have to go through the bad stuff to truly get to the good,” said Uchis of the track in a statement. “Just because you’re losing at the moment doesn't mean you've lost yet. The storm may be scary now but it’s how your flowers bloom later, and paradise is just beyond the rainbow.”

The BADBADNOTGOOD-produced cut is the latest off her upcoming debut album, which she announced is set for release this spring via Interscope Records/Virgin EMI Records. Catch her trekking through North America alongside Lana del Rey, and see tour dates here
