Bia performs onstage during rehearsals for the 17th annual Latin Grammy Awards at T-Mobile Arena on Nov. 16, 2016 in Las Vegas.

The Perico Princess takes an 'each one, teach one' approach.

Finding the right mentor is never really an easy task. Take it from someone who wasn't even brought up to consider the value of one-on-one mentorship.

Pharrell Williams protégé BIA, however, knows a thing or two about the gravity of proper guidance and counseling, particularly in one's chosen field. As part of a new year resolution of sorts, the Boricua rapper has issued a public service announcement via Twitter, offering free advice to young women on the rise.

"Starting something new! If you have a question or need some advice or help email me , or @ me with the hashtag #theNewwomen and I will reach back," she tweeted.

Not only is she promising to reply over email, but she's virtually implementing an open line of communication with her fans who may have a query or two for the Perico Princess. Now there's something we can all get behind in 2018: each one, teach one.
