Kardinal Offishall, Joey Montana & Pree Bring Winter Heat with Caribbean-Styled 'Winner' Video: Premiere

Kardinal Offishall's freshly-minted music video for "Winner" finds the Canadian hip-hop veteran joining forces with Panamanian reggaeton star Joey Montana and Pree of Toronto rap crew EMP in a sonic conjuring of sultry Caribbean tings.

"I don’t speak Spanish, but I knew he was speaking my language," Kardinal told Billboard of the Latin twist Montana added to the reggae, dancehall fusion.

For Montana, whose "Picky" remix featuring Akon left a big impression on Kardinal, the collaboration was innate: "It has a [Latin] style and a touch of Jamaica with which I identified a lot."

A doe-eyed beauty, Pree contributes vocals in a catchy hook you wish you were crooning somewhere on an island far, far away from any city of neon and chrome. Check out the full video, premiering on Billboard today (Dec. 12) below.
