It’s been a whirlwind week of Latin Grammy festivities in Las Vegas, with nominees not just preparing for Latin Gramy performances tonight, but also doing the rounds about town.

On Tuesday night (Nov. 14), the nominees for the Latin Grammys best new artist category were feted at Casa Buchanan’s Nov. 14.

Mau & Ricky Montaner, lounging together at the bar, were trying to keep their excitement in check at the prospect of winning. Their famous father, Ricardo Montaner, who has supported his sons since they began performing with him as kids, preferred to sit things out from his home in Miami.

Sebastian Yatra’s parents did fly in from Colombia to watch their son perform. “This is what I’ve been aiming for from the very beginning,” said the 23-year old with multiple radio hits to his name.

Yatra performed a set at Casa Buchanan’s, and later popped into the Spotify party, where he performed alongside Carlos Vives.

Vives was accompanied by several of his bandmates, including accordionist Egidio Cuadrado. Also performing at Spotify was Luis Fonsi, who finished his set with a solo version of “Despacito.” Daddy Yankee also performed later in the evening, as well as Bomba Estereo, who opened the night.
