Mau & Ricky Premiere 'Mi Mala' Video Featuring Karol G: Watch
Once again, pop and urban rhythms have come together for an explosive combination, and in the music video, Mau, Ricky and Karol G certify that.
With a slow reggaeton beat driving "Mi Mala," the artists sing: "Te quiero pa’ mi, pero no soy pa’ ti,” which translates to “I'm not all yours and you are not all mine, but we are there.” That flirtation was also captured on the music clip directed by David Bohorquez.
The song was penned by Mau & Ricky, Karol G, Jon Leone, Camilo Echeverry, Tainy and Max Mattluck.
Mau & Ricky, sons of the iconic singer/songwriter Ricardo Montaner, officially debuted as a duo in 2011 and got signed with Sony Music Latin in 2015. The siblings are nominated for best new artist at the Latin Grammys 2017, and also as songwriters in the song of the year category with Ricky Martin’s “Vente Pa’Ca."
