'Una Lady Como Tú' Singer Manuel Turizo Signs to SESAC Latina

Urban recording artist Manuel Turizo, based in Colombia, has been signed to performing rights organization SESAC, according to a spokesperson for the organization.

At 16, the entertainer has released three major songs including "Vámonos" (Let's Go) and "Baila Congo" (Dance with Me). The single "Una Lady Como Tú" has received more than 280 million views on YouTube since March and has been streamed over 9 million times on Spotify. The song entered Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart and last week rose 46-39.

Represented in a management deal through La Industria, Inc., the deep-voiced Turizo has also worked with Nicky Jam who is represented by the same group. Both artists worked on "Una Lady Como Tú."

"Uma Lady Como Tú" reached the No. 1 spot on Spotify's streaming charts in Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala and Paraguay. In Spain, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru El Salvador and Nicaragua, the song reached the Top 5 in addition to having received more than 45 million views on artist Valentino's song "Bésame."
