Mario Caceres, the Venezuelan singer/songwriter/producer who co-wrote Wisin hit “Vacaciones” and Maluma’s “Felices Los 4,” has signed a long-term publishing deal with Sony/ATV.

It’s the high point of what’s been a breakthrough year from Caceres, who arrived in Miami just two years ago from Venzuela without much to his name. Thanks to longtime friend Nacho, he connected with local producers and has been writing for the likes of Yandel, Thalia and Becky G.

“Right now is such an exciting time for writers and, in particular, for Latin writers,” said Jorge Mejia, president Sony/ATV Music Publishing for Latin America & US Latin. “Mario is a tremendous addition to our Sony/ATV family, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of his journey as a writer.”
