Bomba Estereo

Colombia’s fiery electro-tropical duo Bomba Esteréo is set to open for Arcade Fire at the rock band's shows in Denver and Independence, Missouri before joining the Canadian sextet at end-of-the-year shows in South America.

The dates with Arcade Fire are part of Bomba Esteréo’s world tour, which kicked off this past weekend at Chicago’s Ruido Fest and continues in Seattle on August 8. Bomba’s Li Saumet and Simon Mejia will play more U.S. shows this summer, including a sold-out concert at New York's Irving Plaza before heading to Europe and Latin America, with a stop at the Music Tastes Good Festival in Long Beach, California, on Oct. 1.

The two U.S. Arcade Fire shows will take place in Denver and Independence on Oct. 25 and 27, respectively, with the stadium concerts in Bogota, Santiago and Lima happening in December. More shows are expected to be announced.
