Singer and actor Jencarlos Canela is set to perform at the 2017 SESAC Latina Music Awards, Billboard can announce exclusively. The awards ceremony, which celebrates songwriters and publishers' successes throughout 2016, is taking place June 7 at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel.

As previously announced, regional Mexican band La Séptima Banda will also perform at the annual gala. Other artists attending this year's awards ceremony include Intocable, Calibre 50, Papayo, Tony Montoya, Jesus Carrillo de Los del Arroyo, Noriel, Erika Ender, Fernando Corona and Saga WhiteBlack. 

The 2017 SESAC Latina Music Awards will award song of the year, publisher of the year, producer of the year, songwriter of the year and, for the first time ever, the SESAC Latina crossover song of the year award.

Urban superstar Nicky Jam, chart-topping group Intocable and Mexican singer/songwriter Luciano Luna were among last year's SESAC Latina Music Awards top winners of the night.
