Ricky Martin simply "cannot wait" for his Las Vegas residency to kick off April 5. The "Vente pa'ca" singer appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Thursday night (Feb. 16), where he talked about his upcoming residency at the Park Theater at Monte Carlo.

"I'm really excited, I cannot wait," he told the host. "I'm working with amazing musicians obviously. I'm going to have 18 dancers onstage. We've invested a lot of money so it's going to be an amazing show. The crowd in Vegas is used to high quality."

Martin joins a roster of superstars, like Celine Dion, Cher, Britney Spears and his good friend Jennifer Lopez, who currently have ongoing residencies in Sin City. Apparently, JLo can expect a call soon from Ricky Martin for advice: "I have to call Jennifer, I'm closer to her than the rest, so I'll call and ask her 'How do you do it? How does it work?'"

The Puerto Rican singer also talked about his 8-year-old twin boys, who he says are his toughest critics. "They sit backstage and look at my show every night, and then one of them one time said 'Daddy, what happened tonight? I didn't like this part. You did it better yesterday'."
