2017 Skanking Reggae Fest Unveils Lineup: Exclusive

Ska and reggae bands such as Panteón Rococó, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Dread Mar I, Antidoping, Los Caligaris, The Slackers and La Banda Skalavera will headline the seventh annual Skanking Reggae Fest in Los Angeles, Billboard has learned. 

It's the second year the fest bets on a bilingual lineup featuring international bands from Mexico, United States, Argentina and Japan. The Goldenvoice-produced event will take place on March 11 at the Shrine Expo Hall. 

Other confirmed performers include Jackie MéndezBlanco y Negro, Los P2, Café Con Tequila and Casa de Calacas

For the first time ever, the Skanking Reggae Fest will extend to the Bay Area in Oakland, California for an encore presentation by the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Dread Mar I and The Slackers at The New Parish on March 12. 

Tickets for L.A. fest are now on sale. For Oakland, tickets will be available for purchase on Friday, Feb. 3.
