Karol G Joins 'Pequenos Gigantes USA' as Team Captain: Exclusive

Urban rising star Karol G is joining Univision's Pequeños Gigantes USA as a team captain, Billboard has learned. The "Hello" singer joins the new talent show with Prince Royce, Luis Coronel and Bianca Marroquín as judges.

The Karol G team will call themselves the "MVP G'S." "Everything they set themselves out to do they can achieve, the key is to be perseverant," the Colombian singer said in a statement. 

Other team captains include singers Rogelio Martínez y Jonatan Sánchez y Mexican actresses Paulina Goto y Daniela Luján.

Pequeños Gigantes USA, a spin-off of the Mexican version, premieres Feb. 6, and will broadcast Monday through Thursday at 8 p.m.

Judges will give out scores after each presentation, in categories divided between singing, dancing and talent. The talent show is open to children 6-11 years old who are U.S. citizens or residents.
