Rising regional Mexican artist Joss Favela is joining Estrella TV's Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento as judge, Billboard has learned.

The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter will be one of the judges on the show's 16th season. Past celebrity judges on the multi-talent show include Gerardo Ortiz, Ana Bárbara and Luis Coronel

"Joss Favela represents the new generation of Regional Mexican music. He is part of the millennial community that is reinventing and keeping traditional Mexican music alive, relevant and fresh," CEO Lenard Liberman said in a statement.

"In many ways, Favela is a reflection of what Estrella TV is doing in Spanish language television in the U.S.  We are proud to have him join our judges panel and welcome him to our Estrella TV family."

Contestants compete on the show in a broad range of skills for a chance at the ultimate prize: $100,000 and a management contract.

Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento will premiere on Estrella TV March 27 at 8 p.m. EST.

Favela scored his first Grammy nomination with his debut album Hecho A Mano. "It's a beautiful satisfaction to know that what we do has a positive impact in the music industry ... It's a dream come true." the 25-year-old singer told Billboard in a previous interview.
