El Dasa's 2017 is off to a rough start after the Mexican singer was robbed just outside of his own home by a "fan."

According to a post on the "Ya me vi" singer's Instagram account, the offender, whom he had seen before outside of his house, went as far as going inside his car. "What hurts me the most is the following: The person who did it was caught on camera and days before, he had taken pictures with me outside of the house and I was kind enough to let him take those photos.

"This is why I hope you guys understand we have to protect ourselves even more," he added.

Although its unclear if the star of NBC Universo's El Vato will press charges against the offender, he made it clear in his post that if anyone tries to pull anything like this again, he will "make the video public so everyone can see who it is ... I am a normal citizen and I also deserve respect."
