Urban titan Wisin has inked a management deal with WK Entertainment, Billboard has learned.

"I feel happy and blessed to be able to work with Walter once again, this time as my manager," Wisin said in a statement. "I have no doubt that alongside him and his great WK Entertainment team, we will continue to make history."

WK Entertainment's CEO Walter Kolm echoes: "We have had mutual respect for each other for many years. We welcome Wisin to the WK Entertainment family with open arms and all of the drive to develop strategies for the evolution of this urban music icon."

The Latin Grammy-nominated artist and Kolm had previously worked together when reggaetón duo Wisin & Yandel were signed to the music label Universal Latino/Machete, where Kolm served as president/CEO. Wisin is now part of the Sony Music Latin family.

The deal comes as the Puerto Rican singer's chart-topping hit "Vacaciones" lands the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Latin Airplay (chart dated Dec. 31) -- giving the reggaetonero his sixth No. 1 on the chart as a solo artist.

Kolm, who was named one of Billboard's 2016 Latin Power Players, currently manages Colombian mega stars Carlos Vives, Maluma and Silvestre Dangond and will be directly in charge of planning, strategizing and structuring of Wisin's musical career.
