Francisco “Cisco” Suárez, the Univision Network’s longtime senior VP of special events, has exited the company, according to a report published Tuesday evening (Dec. 13) by Spanish media news site

Requests to Univision for comment were not immediately returned, though other sources confirmed Suárez’s departure.

Suárez oversaw production of most of Univision's music-centric specials, including the Latin Grammy awards, Premios Lo Nuestro and Premios Juventud among other special programs. Suárez had been with the company since 1993.

Suarez cracked Billboard's first ever TV Music Power Players list, published in September 2015, and he's a regular in Billboard's Latin Power Players List
