Arkano raps non-stop for over 24 hours, breaking Mur’s time for longest rap.
Spanish rapper Arkano has set a new Guinness World Record for non-stop rap improvisation, rhyming for 24 hours, 34 minutes and 27 seconds in Madrid’s central Puerta del Sol square. The 22-year-old allowed himself only 3 second breaks between songs and taking only liquid nourishment during the challenge.
Arkano’s feat started in the afternoon on Oct. 28, just two weeks after L.A. rapper Murs set a record rapping for 24 hours and 15 minutes.
For Murs' Longest Rap Marathon record, he recited a mix of pre-written songs and hip-hop classics. The Longest Rap Freestyle time was previously held by Chiddy, known as part of the hip hop duo Chiddy Bang, for his 9 hours, 16 minutes, and 22 seconds session in 2011.
