SESAC Latina Promotes Eliezer Ponce to Associate Director

SESAC’s Latina division now has a new associated director. Eliezer Ponce, who's been with SESAC since 2009, has been promoted to the post and will represent pop, urban and tropical artists. He will report directly to Celeste Zendejas, director of SESAC Latina. 

The announcement was made by Sam Kling, senior VP of creative operations for SESAC.

"During his seven years with SESAC, Eliezer has brought passion and creativity to his various roles, from nurturing creative talent to tirelessly advocating for SESAC affiliates to maximize the value of their copyrights,” Kling said in a statement.

Ponce joined SESAC in 2009 in Nashville after relocating to the United States from his native Puerto Rico. He has held different positions in SESAC including licensing representative, coordinator of writer and publisher relations for SESAC Latina, among others. Ponce transferred to Los Angeles office in 2010, where he is currently based.

SESAC Latina represents Draco Rosa, Nicky Jam, Gente De Zona, Reik, Gaby Moreno, Intocable, Calibre 50, Fonseca and Aleks Syntek, among others.
