Bilingual singer Moreno performs the new version of the song, as well as the English-language, Latin-tinged pop tune that has been heard on the show since its July debut. Moreno’s latest album, Ilusion, was released on Sept. 9.

The animated show stars a guitar-playing 16-year-old Hispanic princess in a “Latin-inspired fairytale kingdom” where the characters speak English peppered with the occasional Spanish expression. The soundtrack features a medley of Pan-Latin sounds. The show ranked as the summer’s No. 1 TV series in the Kids 2-11 category and the No. 1 animated series across kid cable TV networks in total viewers (2.5 million) and women 18-49 (592,000/0.9 rating), according to network figures.

Disney has renewed Elena for a second season.
